Matthew W. Barney - Broker
Matthew has been a broker with Ram Harnden Commercial Real Estate Services since January 2001. In that time, Matthew’s brokerage work has been varied and extensive, spanning tenant representation of local and national office companies, investor sale/buy representation, and commercial land and building sales/leasing. Matthew also participates as a team member with Jim Harnden and Roxane Cole, providing financial and strategic analysis for complex real estate transactions. In addition, Matthew oversees the firm’s market analytics.
Matthew’s past experiences have contributed significantly to his brokerage business. Prior to joining Ram Harnden, Matthew worked as a business consultant with Cloudhawk Management Consultants, assisting closely-held and family-owned businesses within multiple financial management capacities. Prior to Cloudhawk, Matthew worked at Unum Corporation in their Finance and Treasury organization.
Matthew received his M.B.A from the Whittemore School at the University of New Hampshire, and his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Husson College. He is a former board member with the Maine Commercial Association of Realtors and is an active volunteer with Junior Achievement, the Boy Scouts of America, and Falmouth youth sports.
